The Randolph Aviator - 52mm Grey Lens Black Frame
There are countless aviator styles out there, but only one Randolph Engineering. Built for the US Military, the RE Aviator surpassed their rigid specifications standards has become RE’s flagship product, setting the standard for world-class quality. From their unique bayonet temples that are designed to fit comfortably under headsets or headgear, to the lifetime warranted solder joints, you can always rely on the Aviator to perform... especially when you need it.
Each pair of RE sunglasses goes through more than 200 production stages – mostly by hand. RE even make their own solder flux. As a result, RE frames provide unequalled strength and solder joint integrity. RE nose pads are made of soft silicone to prevent the frames from slipping, even during heavy perspiration. While fashion may fade in and out of the marketplace, the quality found in Randolph Engineering products will never go out of style.
RE feel so strongly about the quality of their products that they will repair or replace any broken solder joint for the lifetime of the frame (assuming normal use).

All RE lenses absorb 98-100% of harmful ultraviolet rays and allow a range of 12-18% of visible light to pass through; the ideal comfort level for most wearers. The mineral glass lenses are exceptionally scratch-resistant, and will provide you with absolute distortion-free clarity. They’re also precision ground and chemically tempered for impact resistance that exceeds ANSI Z-803 standards.
